Awards

Some of my images have been awarded in national and international competitions, which I am particularly proud of.

Print Awards

“Polar Bear, resting out the storm” has been selected for the PAGB 2022 Masters of Print exhibition, which is the best amateur print competition in the UK, and is truly an honour to be selected to exhibit amongst 60 of the best printers in the UK. The print was also awarded the FIAP Gold Medal for Best Wildlife Print at the Southampton International Exhibition 2023.

“Roosting Marbled White” was one of the 10 print winning portfolio in the 21st FIAP Nature Biennial 2022 competition. This is the leading international print and digital portfolio competition, so it’s a huge honour to be selected as one of the UK entry.

Wildlife Photography Awards

“Hobby about to strike a mayfly” has been recognised in the 2021 Bird Photographer of the Year with a Highly Commended award, and was published in the competition book. It was also awarded a Silver award in the SINWP 2021 Bird Photographer of the Year competition.

Three of my images “Waterrail, carefully stepping forward”, “Pygmy Cormorant in early morning light” and “Atlantic Puffins billing” were awarded Commended in the SINWP 2022 Bird Photographer of the Year competition.
